High Point University

High Point University ( HPU ) – private nonprofit higher education institution in the United States. HPU began operations in 1924. The university has an urban campus located in High Point.

Admission and tuition fees. The selection committee selects applicants based on the exams passed and the applicant’s previous performance. When applying, 70 percent (more than half) of applicants successfully enter the university. However, at HPU, the admission rate can vary significantly depending on the chosen direction of the program of study. The academic year is traditionally divided into semesters, as in many other US universities. Although the university is a private institution, students are eligible to apply for financial aid.

The composition of the university. High Point University is a small university in terms of the number of students, in which approximately 4,000 students study in total.
